Swim classes are structured by age and ability to accommodate varying abilities within each age group.

Teddy Paddle: paddling while blowing bubbles and kicking with flotation.
Teddy Float: floating on back with parent assistance for 30 seconds.
Introduction to Teddy
Students will master Teddy Paddle and Teddy Float.

Teddy Paddle:

Ratio 5:1 (Parent participation class)
Cub Paddle: paddling with face in the water and kicking with flotation.
Cub Float: floating on back with assistance for 30 seconds.
Tummy Pool Exit: using elbows and tummy to pull self out of pool.
Water Adjustment
Students will master Cub Paddle, Cub Float and Tummy Pool Exit.

paddling with face in the water and kicking with flotation.

THREE YEARS AND OLDER Ratio 3:1
Bear Paddle: paddling and kicking on tummy.
Kid Backstroke: swooshing arms on back.
Kid Breaststroke: arms extend together in front of head, sweeping back in a circular motion with kicks.
Humpty Dumpty: fall into water, turn, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
Basics of Swimming
Students will master Bear Paddle, Kid Backstroke, Kid Breaststroke and Humpty Dumpty.

Bear Paddle:
paddling and kicking on tummy.
Kid Backstroke: swooshing arms on back.
Kid Breaststroke: arms extend together in front of head, sweeping back in a circular motion and kicking.
Humpty Dumpty: fall into pool, turn, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
Ratio 3:1 (Parent participation class)
THREE YEARS AND OLDER Ratio 4:1
Kid Freestyle: paddling and kicking on tummy, flip to breathe.
Junior Breaststroke: arms extend together in front of head,swimming back in a circular motion with flutter kicks, flip to breathe.
Humpty Dumpty with Breath: fall into water, flip to breathe, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
Flip to Breathe
Students will master Kid Freestyle, Junior Breaststroke and Humpty Dumpty with Breath.

Kid Freestyle:
paddling and kicking on tummy, flip to breathe.
Junior Breaststroke: arms extend together in front of head, sweeping back in a circular motion with kicking, flip to breathe.

Ratio 3:1 (NON-PARENT PARTICIPATION CLASS)
THREE YEARS AND OLDER Ratio 4:1
Junior Freestyle: straight arms move alternately in a circular motion, with flutter kicks and flip to breathe.
Junior Backstroke: on back, slightly bent arms move alternately in a circular motion,with flutter kicks.
Kid Butterfly: dolphin kick with arms extended above head.
Chop-Chop Timber: jump into water, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
Fundamentals of Swimming
Students will master Junior Freestyle, Junior Backstroke, Kid Butterfly and Chop-Chop Timber.

Junior Freestyle:
straight arms move alternately in a circular motion, accompanied with flutter kicks and flip to breathe.
Junior Backstroke: on back, slightly bent arms move alternately in a circular motion, accompanied with flutter kicks.
Kid Butterfly: dolphin kick with arms on side.
Chop-Chop Timber: jump into water, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
THREE YEARS AND OLDER Ratio 4:1
Freestyle: straight arms move alternately in a circular motion, with flutterkicks and side breath.
Backstroke: on back, arms move alternately in a circular motion, with flutter kicks.
Junior Butterfly: arms move simultaneously in a circular motion, flip to breathe.
Chop-Chop Timber with Breath: jump into water, flip to breathe, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
Swimmer for Life
Students will master Freestyle, Backstroke, Junior Butterfly and Chop-Chop Timber with Breath.

Freestyle:
straight arms move alternately in a circular motion, accompanied with flutter kicks and side breath.
Backstroke: on back, arms move alternately in a circular motion, accompanied with flutter kicks.
Junior Butterfly: arms move simultaneously in a circular motion, flip to breathe.
Chop-Chop Timber with Breath: jump into water, flip to breathe, swim to wall and perform a Tummy Pool Exit.
THREE YEARS AND OLDER Ratio 4:1
Breaststroke: arms extend together in front of head, sweeping back in a circular motion, with whip kick.
Butterfly: arms move simultaneously in a circular motion, with dolphin kick.
Competitive Strokes
Students will master Breaststroke and Butterfly while building endurance for Freestyle and Backstroke.

Breaststroke:
arms extend together in front of head, sweeping back in a circular motion, accompanied with frog like kicks.
Butterfly: arms move simultaneously in a circular motion, accompanied with dolphin kick.
THREE YEARS AND OLDER Ratio 4:1
Competitive Turns: flip turn for competitive Freestyle and Backstroke and open turn at wall for competitive Breaststroke and Butterfly.
Streamline: locking straight arms tucked behind ears; used for competitive push-offs and turns.
Sculling: pushing water inward and outward using palms of hands in three different positions.
Team Prep: competitive sets, intervals, push-offs and finishes.
Competitive Advantage
Students will master Competitive Turns, Streamline, Sculling and Team Prep.

Competitive Turns:
flip turn for competitive Freestyle and Backstroke and open turn at wall for competitive Breaststroke and Butterfly.
Streamline: locking straight arms tucked behind ears; used for competitive push offs and turns.
Sculling: pushing water inward and outward using palms of hands in three different positions.
Team Prep: competitive sets, intervals, push offs and finishes.
